# Risk Disclosure

Meme Tokens and on-chain assets involve significant risk. Before creating or trading a token through Thumbcool, users should understand the following:

* Meme Tokens can experience extreme price volatility and may lose most or all of their value.
* Token creators are responsible for the information, branding and external links they provide.
* Thumbcool does not guarantee the quality, legitimacy, value or future performance of tokens created through the platform.
* Tax Tokens involve additional transaction costs. Users should review the tax rate, allocation rules, recipient addresses and permissions before trading.
* Bonding Curve and DEX liquidity conditions can affect execution price, slippage and the ability to enter or exit a position.
* Smart contracts, wallets, bridges, DEXs and network infrastructure may be affected by technical failures, exploits or third-party risks.
* Users should verify official links and contract addresses and never disclose private keys, seed phrases or wallet verification codes.
* Stock Meme Tokens do not represent real shares or equity and do not provide ownership, voting or dividend rights.

Users are responsible for evaluating the risks and complying with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. Nothing in this documentation constitutes financial, investment or legal advice.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.thumb.meme/risk-disclosure.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
